Fish Story

It’s going to be a good day.

Funny fish story (but not really)

I was talking to God this morning. I do that a lot, but I had something weighing on my heart.

I’ve spent many years as a “Crisis Christian” and I’ve been working hard to turn to Him daily instead of only when I’m in need.

Even through I wanted to “get to the point”, I worked through my tried and true method ACTS:

A: adoration. How can I help but be in awe when my view is the sun rising over the Atlantic every morning.

C: confess. He knows where I fall short, but I think it’s important for Him to know I know too.

T: thanks. My life is so, so good. Even in times of trouble… even if times of worry. Great family, amazing friends, good health.

S: suplication. Finally… help me… I surrendered my worry. I trust Him to right the wrong because I know His truth will bring justice where it is due and He loves even more than I ever could.

Psalm 56:3 “When I am afraid, I will trust in you.”

As I was finishing my walk, I saw something in the sand and as I got closer, I noticed it was a funky little fish.

Of course, I had to take a picture and the fish moved! It was still alive.

I searched for some driftwood and took him out to sea. I asked God to care for my situation and He allowed me to repay the gift of His comfort and love.

It’s going to be a good day 🧡
