Helping women rediscover purpose, joy
& health in their second act

Hi, I’m Kim… a woman right in the middle of her second act.

My boys are grown now, building lives with their wives and raising the sweetest little boys who call me Nana. These days, I find joy in writing, traveling, and being present in a life I once rushed through without realizing it.

I didn’t expect this chapter to turn out the way it did.

I’m a certified nutritionist and personal trainer who once owned a boutique gym. When I closed it in 2017, I thought I was stepping into retirement. What I didn’t anticipate was the quiet loss of purpose that followed. The days felt longer. The rhythms I had relied on slipped away. And if I’m honest, there were moments when I wondered who I was without the work that had defined me.

But I’ve been a coach my whole life, and somewhere along the way, I recognized what was happening beneath the surface. Slowly, gently, I began again. Not all at once, but through small, steady choices that brought me back to myself.

That journey became my first book, Reflections of Joy. It was written for women stepping into their own second act, women who sense there is more for them but aren’t quite sure how to move toward it. Since then, I’ve created companion resources and spent time helping other women bring their stories to life.

Through that work, I found something even more meaningful.

Writer-2-Writer is where much of this work began for me, a space where we helped women take the brave step of launching their books into the world. It was there I witnessed not just the logistics of a launch, but the deeper hesitation so many women carry about being seen and heard. That realization led me to co-found The Visible Author, a space where women learn to write with clarity, integrity, and courage. It is a place for unfinished work, honest reflection, and the kind of writing that doesn’t just sound good but tells the truth.

Alongside this work, I am a Go and Tell Gals certified Christian life coach, a role that has deepened my understanding of calling, obedience, and the courage it takes to move forward when the path is not fully clear.

And now, I am stepping more fully into the work I feel called to do.

Called Forward is the next expression of that calling… a coaching experience for women who know, deep down, that they are being invited into something more. Not because they need to become someone else, but because it is time to stop holding back who they already are. Whether through writing, wellness, or the quiet nudge toward a new direction, this work is about helping you move forward with clarity, confidence, and faith.

Alongside coaching and writing, I co-host The Whole Woman Podcast with my friend Rachel, where we explore what it means to live well in every sense… mentally, spiritually, physically, and relationally. It is a space for honest conversation and shared growth.

If you are here, I don’t believe it is by accident.

You may be feeling the nudge, too. The sense that something is shifting. That you are being asked to step forward in a way you can’t quite explain yet.

You are not too late. And it is not too hard.

It may simply be time to be called forward.

Until we meet again…
Be happy 🧡
